“Story Time” (working title) on Flickr.‘Story Time’ was an idea I had originally pitched last year to Sikh TV but it didn’t get off the ground due to lack of funds.
Premise:
The three main characters; Tiger, Buffulo and Monkey meet up regularly to tell each other Sikh stories. One of the characters usually narrates the story, while they all play different roles within that story.
Each episode would have been roughly ten minutes in length and would appear before or after school.

While going through spotify one day 8 weeks ago, I came across the new Basement Jaxx album. I’ve always been a fan of their dance music, but hearing their tracks being composed by the metropole orkest just blew my mind.
While listening to the album, the ‘Hey U’ track in particular caught my attention and ideas came flooding in of a parade of exotic animals performing the track. I felt compelled to animate something and here is the finished project.
